It’s official, and here it is, the beaut! Our beast of a car, Polly the 2001 Perodua Nippa. 847cc engine of raw power and an amazing 72 hp… This incredibly sporty, formula 1 worthy racing car will drive us 10,000 miles from London to Mongolia, across some of the harshest roads in the world. Good thing it gets 60mpg! GRRRRRRR
After serving as our trusty steed, carrying us halfway around the globe, the car will be donated to the charity AFDM (Adventures for Development, Mongolia) in Ulaan Baatar, and will either be:
- Sold, with the proceeds after tax going to a local charity OR
- Donated to a charity or area in need of a vehicle, where it will be converted into an emergency vehicle, such as an ambulance.
